Garden to Kitchen

On Sunday, September 10, the Lewisburg Community Garden hosted the Fifth Annual Locavore “Garden to Kitchen” fundraiser, and the event was absolutely amazing! The weather was stellar, and guests were able to stroll about the Garden while enjoying live music, and sampling dishes and drinks created by local vendors. 78 guests attended, and $2,100 was raised towards the Garden’s operating budget. Massive thanks are owed to the many people and businesses that supported the event, including the following:

Amami Kitchen and Espresso Bar
Brasserie Louis
Brushstrokes
Bucknell University Dining and Catering
Bucknell University Facilities
Civil War Cider
Cow-A-Hen Farm
Elizabeth’s American Bistro
Fero Vineyards and Winery
First Presbyterian Church
Folked Up (Steve Bowman and Eric Sundberg)
Garden Secrets
Natural Food and Garden Store
The Mercantile
Reba and Pancho’s
Siam Restaurant
Stone Meadow Farm
That Kitchen Witch
West Branch Rental

A special thanks to Annie Conley, Betsy VanBuskirk, Kathy Graham, and Winnie Foreman for planning and coordinating the event, and to the members of the Lewisburg Community Garden Advisory Board, the Office of Civic Engagement staff and students, and the community members that volunteered their time to support what has become a favorite Fall gathering in Lewisburg!
